City University College (CUC) celebrated and promoted diversity on its annual ‘Cultural Day’ on Thursday, 10th of December at its Barwa Campus.
The event was attended by all staff and students with extra precautions taken due to COVID-19. The Cultural Day started at noon and featured traditional dress and cultural food from around the world.
CUC Principal, Mr. Richard Hollywood highlighted the importance of the day as celebrating it ‘builds respect, awareness and understanding of ethnicity and culture and encourages students to share experiences and knowledge with each other’ CUC currently has students from 19 different countries.
The occasion was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
